A window-facing display competes with daylight. At 4,000 nits the 49XS4P-B stays vivid and readable when mounted behind storefront glass in direct sun, where a typical 500-nit indoor panel would wash out completely.
It is a window-facing display: built to sit indoors behind glass and beam outward to the street. It is not weather-sealed for full outdoor exposure. For drive-thru and open-air installs use LG's fully outdoor signage range.
