It can display a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with a pixel density of 52 ppi.
Picture Quality
Now, the very next specification of a display that will impact your viewing experience is Color Gamut.
Sony has not provided a color gamut rating for this TV. So we have to take a guess. As this TV features amassive 85 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. Undoubtedly The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike! Meaning it is capable of producing color accurate images.
Understanding the Color Gamut Specification
Color gamut specification of a TV is a measure of the range of colors that the TV can display.
A TV with poor color accuracy will produce washed out colors that will spoil the immersion.
Different manufacturers use different units to specify color gamut. Such as — sRGB (most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
But don't worry, below is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Other than color accuracy, you should look at the static contrast specification as it influences the picture quality substantially.
What is Static Contrast ?
Static contrast ratio of a TV corresponds to its Black levels. A Display with low static contrast ratio (<1000:1) will not produce deep blacks. Also, such TVs are likely to suffer from backlight bleeds such as below:

This will impact your experience considerably, especially in a dark room.
Think of static contrast as another dimension to details — just like resolution. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
There's no mention of this specification in this TV's official datasheet. So once again we have to make an assumption based on the TV's other specifications. In general, IPS panels come with a static contrast ratio between 700:1 - 1500:1. Considering its a 4K TV, we can assume the ratio to be 1200:1 or above.
Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) are also supported on this TV.
As for brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits. The panel of this TV is powered by Mini LED backlight.
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV just for content consumption, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also going to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to get a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
Sadly, Sony did not specify the input lag on this unit. Now, since this is not a cheap TV from Sony, we can expect an input lag of less than 20ms.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the amount of time at which your device inputs changes the content of the screen. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
Although for better experience, get a TV that features an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Coming to ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 400 x 400 mm is provided for wall-mounting. The unit doesn't come with either Swivel, Tilt or Pivot support.
The vertical and horizontal measurements of this TV are 74.37 inches and 43.19 inches ( adjustable upto 2.36" ) respectively. It is just 2.2 inches thick. It weighs around 53.2 Kgs, another 1.5 kgs if you include stand.
Hardware and Audio
For display connectivity, there are two HDMI 2.0 ports, two HDMI 2.1 ports and one AV Composite In 3.5 mm jack port on this TV.
To connect USB devices, it includes two USB ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Satellite In (F-type female), 1x Antenna (RF), 1x CI+ 2.0 (C) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
For wireless connectivity, the manufacturer has provided a 5Ghz Wi-Fi, 2.5 Ghz Wi-Fi, Wifi-Direct, Bluetooth and DLNA.
The Audio unit of this TV is powered by 2 x 10W speakers. It also comes with a built-in subwoofer. So you don't have to invest on an external sound system.
Speaking of power consumption, it consumes 158.16 Watts on average and 0.5 Watts on standby.
Both 110V and 220V outlets are supported on this unit.
