Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the very next feature of a display that will impact your viewing experience is Color Gamut.
The Samsung QN85Q80B is rated with a 100% DCI P3 color gamut coverage, which is equivalent to 136.36% sRGB. The color quality on this TV should be Lifelike!
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut specification of a display is a measure of the range of colors that the display can show.
A panel with poor color reproduction will produce undersaturated colors that will spoil the immersion.
Different manufacturers use different units to define color gamut. Viz — sRGB (most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
For example, the color gamut of this TV is specified using DCI P3.
But you don't need to worry about that, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, the static contrast ratio of a TV has equally important role in picture quality.
Understanding Static Contrast
There are two types of contrast specifications for a TV. Static and Dynamic. We are interested in static contrast ratio. Dynamic doesn't matter much.
This specification tells the intensity of black levels. That is, a TV with SC ratio < 1000:1 may produce black images something like this:

Apart from that, such TVs may suffer from backlight bleeds that will impact your experience — as shown below.

Note that, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV is rated with a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., enough to achieve deep blacks. The panel comes with local dimming feature which is a plus.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10+ Gaming and Quantum HDR 12X.
As for brightness, it is can produce a maximum brightness of 250 nits, which is powered by Direct LED (Full-Array Local Dimming) backlight.
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV only for content consumption, you can ignore these specs. But if you are also going to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to take a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
Sadly, we cannot find the input lag specification for this unit. But since this is not a cheap TV from Samsung, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the amount of time at which your inputs changes the content of the TV. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
Although for better experience, get a TV that features an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The width of this TV is 74.5 inches while its height is 45.8 inches.
In terms of thickness, it is just 2.2 inches thick.
In total this TV weighs approximately 50.12 kgs including its stand. Without stand, it weighs 43.32 KGs.
Now, coming to ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 600 x 400 mm. However, there is no Swivel, Tilt or Pivot feature support in this TV.
Hardware and Audio
The core of this TV is powered by a 4-Core CPU. However, Samsung didn't provide any information about the RAM on the TV's official specsheet.
The UI on this TV is powered by Tizen 6.5 Operating System.
