Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next most important spec to look for in a display is its Color Reproduction Accuracy, which is defined by its color gamut specification.
This TV doesn't come with a color gamut specification, but don't worry, we have other means to guess that.considering the TV features an OLED panel, there is no need to worry about color accuracy. Rest assured, OLED panels are excellent at producing accurate colors.
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a display is the measurement of the range of colors that it can produce.
A display with poor color reproduction will produce undersaturated colors that will spoil the immersion.
Different manufacturers use different units to specify color gamut. Such as — sRGB, NTSC, DCI P3 to name a few.
But you don't need to worry about that, below is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
Next in the list is Static Contrast.
Why its important?
There are two types of contrast specifications for a TV. Static and Dynamic. We are interested in static contrast ratio as dynamic doesn't matter much.
This tells the intensity of black levels. That is, a TV with SC ratio < 1000:1 will produce black images something like this:

Apart from this, such TVs may suffer from backlight bleeds that will impact your experience — as shown below.

Note that, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, so lesser detail overall.
For a display with OLED panel, its static constrast should be Infinity : 1. So no need to worry about this.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10 Pro.
As for brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits.
Gaming Performance
If you are not into gaming, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also planning to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, make sure to take a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on the LG OLED48A29LA is 5 ms and its minimum response time is 1 ms. Gamers gonna love this TV.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which key-presses/mouse movements changes the content of your display. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
But ideally, get a TV that has an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
