The 75UQ9000PUD is a 75 inch 4K TV from LG, launched in the year 2022. It features a True 8-bit IPS panel.
It can display a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz with a pixel density of 59 ppi.
Picture Quality
Now, the next important feature of a display that impacts picture quality is its Color Gamut.
LG did not provide a color gamut specification for this TV. So we have to take a guess. As this TV features a big 75 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. The color quality on this TV should be Lifelike! Meaning it will produce color accurate images by default.
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut specification of a TV indicates the range of colors that it can produce.
A TV with poor color accuracy will produce washed out colors that will spoil the immersion.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc. It is upto the manufacturer which one they choose.
But don't worry, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, the static contrast ratio of a TV holds almost equal role in picture quality.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
There are 2 types of contrast specifications for a TV. Static and Dynamic. We are interested in static contrast ratio. Dynamic doesn't matter much.
Static contrast specification tells the intensity of black levels. That is, a TV with static contrast ratio less than 1000:1 will produce black images something like this:

Moreover, such TVs may suffer from backlight bleeds that will rob your experience — as shown below.

Also, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
However, we couldn't find a static contrast ratio specification for this TV. Once again we have to take a guess based on the TV's other specifications. FYI — IPS panels come with a static contrast ratio between 700:1 - 1500:1. Considering its a 4K TV, we can assume the ratio of LG 75UQ9000PUD to be 1200:1 or above.
HDR10 Pro and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) are also supported on this TV, so that's a plus.
Coming to brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Direct LED.
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV only for content consumption, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also going to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you should take a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, there is no specification for input lag on this TV. Now, since this is not a cheap TV from LG, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the amount of time at which your inputs changes the content of your display. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
Although for better experience, look for a TV that has an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Now, coming to ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 400 x 400 mm is provided for wall-mounting. The unit doesn't come with either Swivel, Tilt or Pivot support.
The TV measures 75 inches vertically and 66 inches horizontally.
Speaking of thickness, it is just 2.36 inches thick. In total it weighs around 31.8 KGs (including stand). Without stand, it weighs 31.4 KGs.
Hardware and Audio
The core of this TV is powered by a 4-Core CPU. However, we could'nt find any info on the total available RAM on the TV's specsheet.
Speaking of OS, the LG 75UQ9000PUD runs webOS 22 Operating System.
For display connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this TV.
For connecting USB devices, you will have two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Cable/Antenna In (F-type female), 1x RS232 (C) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
For connecting to this TV wirelessly, you will have — Wi-Fi (5Ghz + 2.5Ghz), Wifi-Direct, Bluetooth 5.0 and DLNA.
For audio, LG has provided 2 x 10W speakers on the TV.
In terms of power usage, this TV uses 135 watts on average and 0.5 watts on standby.
It supports a power outlet of 220 V - 240 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz.
