The 43HAE4350 is a 43 inch Full HD TV from Hitachi, launched in the year 2021. It comes with a 10-bit IPS panel.
It can display a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and pixel density of 51 ppi.
After screen size and resolution, the next important spec to look for in a display is its Color Reproduction (defined by its color gamut specification).
This TV doesn't provide a color gamut specification, so we have to take a guess. Considering the TV comes with a 10bit IPS panel, we can safely assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 100% or above. Undoubtedly The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike!
What is Color gamut ?
Color gamut spec of a display is a measure of the range of colors that the TV can produce.
A TV with poor color reproduction will produce undersaturated colors that will spoil your immersive experience.
Different manufacturers use different units to specify color gamut. Viz — sRGB (most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
But you don't need to worry about that, here is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, the static contrast ratio of a TV holds almost equal role in picture quality.
What is Static Contrast ?
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce natural deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that will look dusty as shown below.
As you see, this will impact your experience considerably.
Other than black levels, a TV with high constrast ratio lets you to see more details. So, resolution and static contrast ratio go hand in hand.
We were not able to find a static contrast ratio specification for this TV. Once again we have to take a guess. FYI — IPS panels come with a static contrast ratio between 700:1 - 1500:1. Now, for a mid-range Full HD TV, we can imagine the ratio would be no less than 1200:1.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR and HDR10.
Coming to brightness, it can go as bright as 300 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Direct LED.
If you are planning to use your TV only for content consumption, you can ignore these specs. But if you are also going to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, make sure to take a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, Hitachi did not specify the input lag on this unit. Now, IPS panels in general come with high input lags and response times. So, the input lag on this TV could be greater than 20ms. Though, there's no concern for playability of casual or Non-FPS games on it.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the latency at which your key-presses/mouse movements changes the content of the screen. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
For best of both worlds, get a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
Vertically, the TV measures 43 inches and horizontally 38.31 inches.
It is just 3.23 inches thick.
It weighs 5.88 kgs and 1.8 kgs extra if you include stand. So plan your space accordingly.
Now, speaking of ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 100 x 100 mm is provided for wall-mounting. Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.

The TV is powered by 4-Core CPU. There is no data on the RAM on this TV.
The Operating System on this TV is Android TV.
For display connectivity, Hitachi has provided three HDMI 1.4 (ARC; CEC) ports, one D-sub (15-pin) port, one AV Composite In (Video + L/R) port and one AV Component In (YPbPr + L/R) (via D-Sub) port on this TV.
