Launched in the year 2021, the 75U7G is a 75" 4K TV from Hisense. It comes with a 10-bit IPS panel with Anti-glare/Matte finish.
The max. resolution it can display is 3840 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with a pixel density of 59 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important specification to look for in a display is its Color Reproduction, which is defined by its color gamut specification.
This TV doesn't provide a color gamut specification, so we have to make an assumption based on its panel type.
Now, since the TV features a 75 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. The color quality on this TV will be Lifelike! Meaning it will produce color accurate images out of the box.
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a display indicates the range of colors that the display can display.
In other words, it indicates the ability of a display to produce accurate colors. A display with low color gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), so the image produced will look "washed out" in colors.
Different manufacturers use different units to specify color gamut. Viz — sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
But you don't need to worry about that, below is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, you should look at the static contrast specification as it impacts the picture quality the same way.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
There are 2 types of contrast specifications for a TV. Static and Dynamic. We are interested in static contrast ratio. Dynamic doesn't matter much.
This specification tells the intensity of black levels. That is, a TV with static contrast ratio less than 1000:1 may produce black images something like this:

Moreover, such TVs are likely be prone to backlight bleeds that will rob your experience — as shown below.

Think of static contrast as another dimension to details — just like resolution. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
This TV features a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., well enough to achieve deep blacks. For the record, it also comes with local dimming backlight which is a plus.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and HDR10+.
Coming to brightness, it can go as bright as 1000 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Direct LED (Full-Array Local Dimming). This amount of brightness is good enough even for a well-lit room!
Gaming Performance
Now if you are going to use a TV other than watching videos — say as a PC monitor or Gaming, make sure to take a TV with lowest input lag. For gaming, both input lag and response time affects the performance.
Sadly, Hisense did not specify the input lag on this unit. But as this is not a cheap TV from Hisense, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the amount of time at which your device inputs changes the content of your TV. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
But ideally, get a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Now, coming to ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 600 x 300 mm is provided for wall-mounting. The unit doesn't come with Swivel, Tilt or Pivot support.
Vertically, the TV measures 75 inches and horizontally 65.98 inches.
It is just 3.35 inches thick. In total the TV weighs 29.4 Kgs (including stand). Without stand, it weighs 28.8 KGs. So plan your space accordingly.
Hardware and Audio
To power its UI, the TV runs Android 10 Operating System.
For display connectivity, Hisense has provided two HDMI 2.0 (b; ARC; CEC) ports, one AV Composite In (Video + L/R) port and two HDMI 2.1 ports on this TV.
For connecting USB devices, it includes 1x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Cable/Antenna In (F-type) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
Regarding wireless connections, the manufacturer has provided Wi-Fi (5Ghz + 2.5Ghz), Wifi-Direct and Bluetooth.
The Audio unit of this TV is powered by 2 x 10W built-in speakers.
In terms of power consumption, the TV consumes 210W on average and 0.5W on standby.
It supports a power outlet of 100 V - 120 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz.
