Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important feature of a display is its Color Reproduction, which is defined by its color gamut specification.
The Hisense 55A6GQ comes with 95% DCI P3 color gamut coverage. Incase you're wondering, this is equivalent to 129.55% sRGB. The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike!
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut specification of a TV indicates the range of colors that it can show.
In layman terms, it determines the ability of a display to produce accurate colors. A display with low gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), the result would be a "washed out" picture quality.
Different manufacturers use different units to define color gamut. Such as — sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC 1953, DCI P3 Adobe RGB and rec.2020.
For example, the color gamut of this TV is specified in DCI P3.
But you don't need to worry about that, below is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Other than color accuracy, you should look at the static contrast specification as it influences the picture quality substantially.
Understanding the static contrast ratio of a TV
A TV with low static contrast ratio will not produce deep enough blacks and possibly bleed backlight as shown below:

The static contrast ratio of above TV is rated 800:1. So make sure you get a TV with a static contrast of >= 1000:1. More is better.
Like resolution, the static contrast ratio is also equally responsible for details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV features a static contrast ratio of 1200 : 1. — good enough for a TV in this range. For the record, it also comes with local dimming backlight which is a plus.
Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and HDR10+ are also supported on this TV.
As for brightness, it can go as bright as 300 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Direct LED.
Gaming Performance
If you are not planning to game on this TV, you can safely ignore these specifications. But if you are also planning to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to take a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on the Hisense 55A6GQ is 20 ms and its minimum response time is N/A. It is acceptable for casual and non-FPS games but is not suitable for competitive or FPS games like COD.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which device inputs changes the content of your TV. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
Although for better experience, get a TV that features an input lag and response time of < 20ms.

It is just 2.91 inches thick. It weighs around 11.3 KGs and an additional 0.2 kgs including stand. So plan your space accordingly.
