The 55OLEDGG970B is a 55 inch 4K TV from Grundig, launched in the year 2022. It features a True 10-bit OLED panel.
It can display a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz with a pixel density of 80 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important feature to look for in a display is its Color Reproduction Accuracy (defined by its color gamut specification).
This TV features 98% DCI P3 color gamut coverage. This is equivalent to 133.64% sRGB. The color quality on this TV will be Lifelike!
What is Color gamut ?
Color gamut spec of a TV is the measurement of the range of colors that the TV can show.
Put Simply, it tells the ability of a TV to produce accurate colors. A panel with low color gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), thus producing a "washed out" picture.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
For example, the color gamut of this TV is specified in DCI P3.
But you don't need to worry about that, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, you should look at the static contrast specification as it influences the picture quality the same way.
The importance of static contrast ratio
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce natural deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that look muddy as shown in the below image.

As you see, this will rob your experience considerably.
Also note, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, so lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, I will prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
Given this TV comes with an OLED panel, its static constrast should be Infinity : 1. So no need to worry about this.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and HDR10.
Coming to brightness, it is can produce a maximum luminance of 550 nits. This amount of brightness is good enough even for a room with sun's rays in!
Gaming Performance
Now if you are planning to use a TV other than watching videos — say as a PC monitor or Gaming, you would want to get a TV with lowest input lag. For gaming, both the input lag and response time affects the performance.
The input lag on this TV is 5 ms and its minimum response time is 1 ms. For a TV, its the best you can get for gaming.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the latency at which inputs changes the content of the screen. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
But ideally, get a TV that has an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The width of this TV is 48.34 inches while its height is 30.49 inches.
In terms of thickness, it is just 1.97 inches thick. It weighs around 22.5 kgs, another 2.5 kgs if you include stand. So plan your space accordingly.
Coming to ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 400 x 300 mm is provided for wall-mounting. Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.
Hardware and Audio

The Operating System on this TV is Android TV.
For display connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this TV.
To connect USB devices, you will have two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Satellite In (F-type), 1x CI+ and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
