Now, the very next specification of a Display that impacts picture quality is Color Gamut.

What is Color gamut ?
Color gamut specification of a display indicates the range of colors that the monitor can produce.
A panel with poor color reproduction will produce undersaturated colors that will not be pretty to look at.
Different manufacturers use different measurement standards to define color gamut. Viz — sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC, DCI P3 to name a few.
For example, the color gamut of this Monitor is specified using DCI P3.
But don't worry, here is a chart that will help you choosing a Monitor with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, next in the list is Static Contrast.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
A Display with low static contrast ratio will not produce deep blacks and can bleed backlight as below:The image is an example of another display, it is not this one
The static contrast ratio of above Display is 800:1. So make sure you get a Display with a static contrast of >= 1000:1. Ofcourse, More is better.
Other than black levels, a Display with high constrast ratio enables you to see more details. So, resolution and static contrast ratio go hand in hand.
If given a choice, I will prefer a FHD Display with high contrast ratio over a 4K Display with low contrast ratio.
This monitor features a static contrast ratio of 1000 : 1 — good enough for a display in this range.
Coming to brightness, it is can produce a maximum luminance of 250 nits, powered by W-LED backlight technology.
Now if you are planning to use this display primarily for gaming, make sure to get a Monitor with lowest input lag and response times.
The input lag on the MSI Optix MAG245R2 is 5 ms and its minimum response time is 4 ms. So its a go-to Display if you are interested in gaming.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the amount of time at which inputs changes the content of your display. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
Although for better experience, get a Monitor that comes with an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
