Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important spec of a display that defines picture quality is Color Gamut.
This TV doesn't come with a color gamut specification, but don't worry, we have other means to guess that.
Now, since the TV comes with a 10bit VA panel, we can safely assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 100% or above. Undoubtedly The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike!
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a display is a measure of the range of colors that it can show.
What this means is, it determines the ability of a display to produce accurate colors. A display with low gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), so the image produced will look "washed out" in colors.
Different manufacturers use different units to define color gamut. Viz — sRGB, NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
But don't worry, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, next in the list of important specifications that will impact your experience is Static Contrast.
What is Static Contrast ?
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce natural deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that look dusty as shown below.

As you can imagine, this will affect your experience considerably.
Note that, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
This TV features a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., good enough to produce deep blacks. The panel comes with local dimming backlight which is a plus.
HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dolby Vision IQ are also supported on this TV, so that's a plus.
Coming to brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits, powered by Direct LED backlight.
Gaming Performance
If you aren't interested in gaming, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also planning to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to get a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on the TCL 43C735 is 15 ms and its minimum response time is 8 ms. It is good enough for both casual and competitive/FPS games.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the latency at which your key-presses/mouse movements changes the content of the screen. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
Although for better experience, look for a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Now, coming to ergonomics — Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.
Vertically, the TV measures 43 inches and horizontally 38.58 inches. In total, it weighs approximately 11.2 kgs. So plan your space accordingly.
