Picture Quality
Now, the next important spec of a display that defines picture quality is Color Gamut.
This TV doesn't come with a color gamut specification, but don't worry, we have other means to guess that. As this TV features amassive 75 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike! Meaning it will produce accurate colors out of the box.
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a TV indicates the range of colors that the TV can display.
A TV with poor color reproduction will produce washed out colors that will not be pretty to look at.
Different manufacturers use different measurement standards to define color gamut. Viz — sRGB (most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
But you don't need to worry about that, below is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, the static contrast of a TV also impacts its picture quality.
The importance of static contrast ratio
A TV with low static contrast ratio will not produce deep blacks and may bleed backlight as shown in the below image:

The static contrast ratio of above TV is rated 800:1. So make sure you get a TV with a static contrast of >= 1000:1. Ofcourse, More is better.
Like resolution, the static contrast ratio is also equally responsible for details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV is rated with a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., good enough to achieve deep blacks. For the record, it also comes with local dimming backlight which is a plus.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10+, HDR and HDR10.
Coming to brightness, the peak brightness the Samsung UN75BU8000 can produce is 250 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Edge LED.
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV just for content consumption, you can ignore these specifications. But if you are also going to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, you should take a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on this TV is 8 ms and its minimum response time is N/A. Gamers will love this TV.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which key-presses/mouse movements changes the content of the TV. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
But ideally, look for a TV that has an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Speaking of ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 400 x 400 mm. There is no Swivel, Tilt or Pivot feature support on this TV.
The vertical and horizontal measurements of this TV are 66 inches and 39.59 inches respectively.
It is 1 inches thick. Overall it weighs around 32.0 KGs (including stand). Without stand, it weighs 31.4 KGs.
Hardware and Audio
The Samsung UN75BU8000 comes with a Quad Core CPU. However, we could'nt find any specification about the RAM on this TV.
To power its UI, the TV runs Tizen 6.5 Operating System.
For display connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this TV.
To connect USB devices, it includes two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Cable/Antenna In (F-type female), 1x RS232 (C) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.

Speaking of power usage, the TV consumes 157.2W on average and 0.5W on standby.
