The QE43Q65B is a 43 inch 4K TV from Samsung. It was launched in 2022. It features a 10-bit VA panel. The maximum resolution it can achieve is 3840 x 2160 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a pixel density of 103 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important specification to look for in a display is its Color Reproduction Accuracy (defined by its color gamut specification).
This TV is rated with a 100% DCI P3 color gamut coverage. Incase you're wondering, this is equivalent to 136.36% sRGB coverage. The color quality on this TV will be Lifelike!
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut specification of a TV is a measure of the range of colors that the display can display.
A TV with poor color reproduction will produce undersaturated/washed out colors that will spoil your immersive experience.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 etc.
As for this TV its color gamut is specified in DCI P3.
But don't worry, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Other than color accuracy, the static contrast ratio of a TV has equally important role in picture quality.
Why its important?
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce natural deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that will look dusty as shown in below image.

As you imagine, this will rob your experience considerably.
Also, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, so lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV comes with a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., good enough to display deep blacks and eye-catching visuals. The panel comes with local dimming backlight technology which is a plus.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive and Quantum HDR.
Coming to brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Edge LED.
Gaming Performance
If you aren't into gaming, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also planning to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you should take a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, we cannot find the input lag specification for this unit. But since this is not a cheap TV, we can expect an input lag of less than 20ms.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which key-presses or mouse movements changes the content of the screen. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
Although for better experience, look for a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The width of this TV is 38 inches while its height is 24.56 inches. It is 1 inches thick. It weighs around 8.1 KGs and 0.6 kgs extra if you include stand. So plan your space accordingly.
Now, coming to ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 200 x 200 mm. However, there is no Swivel, Tilt or Pivot feature support in this TV.
Hardware and Audio
The TV is powered by 4-Core CPU. There is no mention about the available RAM on the TV's official specsheet.
To power its UI, the TV runs Tizen 6.5 Operating System.
For display connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this TV.
To connect USB devices, it includes two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Satellite In (F-type female), 1x Antenna (RF) (female), 1x CI+ 1.4 and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
For connecting to this TV wirelessly, the manufacturer has provided a 5Ghz Wi-Fi, 2.5 Ghz Wi-Fi, Wifi-Direct, Bluetooth and DLNA.

In terms of power consumption, on average, this TV uses about 49.73W and on standby, it takes 0.5 W.
It supports a power outlet of 100 V - 120 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz.
