Launched in the year 2022, the TX-65LZ1500 is a 65" 4K TV from Panasonic. It features a True 10-bit OLED panel.
It can display a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with a pixel density of 68 ppi.
After screen size and resolution, the next important specification of a display that impacts picture quality is Color Gamut.
Panasonic has not provided a color gamut rating for this TV. So we have to take a guess. considering it features an OLED panel, so we can conclude that the equivalent sRGB coverage of this panel would be far above 100%.
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut specification of a display is the measurement of the range of colors that the display can display.
A display with poor color accuracy will produce washed out colors that will spoil the immersion.
It is specified in different units - sRGB,sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC, DCI P3 to name a few.
But you don't need to worry about that, below is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Next in the list that will impact your experience is Static Contrast.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
There are 2 types of contrast specifications for a TV. Static and Dynamic. We are interested in static contrast ratio. Dynamic doesn't matter much.
This specification tells the intensity of black levels. That is, a TV with SC ratio less than 1000:1 may produce black images something like this:

Also note, static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, so lesser detail overall.
Given this TV comes with an OLED panel, its static constrast should be Infinity : 1. So no need to worry about this at all.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Adaptive, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ and HLG Photo.
As for brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits.
If you are planning to use the TV other than using it as a TV — say as a PC monitor or Gaming, you would want to take a TV with lowest input lag. For gaming, both the input lag and response time impacts the performance.
The input lag on this TV is 5 ms and its minimum response time is 1 ms. So its a go-to TV if you are interested in gaming.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which your inputs changes the content of the screen. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
For best of both worlds, look for a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Now, speaking of ergonomics — a VESA mount with interface size of 300 x 300 mm is provided for wall-mounting. There is no Tilt or Pivot support on this unit except Swivel support.
The width of this TV is 57 inches while its height is 35.24 inches.
It is 2.72 inches thick. Overall it weighs around 23.0 kgs (including stand). Without stand, it weighs 18.0 kgs.
Hardware and Audio
The TV is powered by Quad Core CPU. There is no mention about the available RAM on the TV's specsheet.
The Operating System on this TV is my Home Screen 7.0.
For display connectivity, Panasonic has provided two HDMI 2.0 ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports on this TV.
To connect USB devices, you have — 2x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Antenna (RF) (female), 1x Satellite In (Main — F-type female), 1x AV Component In (YPbPr + L/R), 2x CI+ 1.4 (ECP), 1x Satellite In (Sub — F-type female) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
Regarding wireless connectivity, the manufacturer has provided a 5Ghz Wi-Fi, 2.5 Ghz Wi-Fi, Wifi-Direct, Bluetooth and DLNA.
For audio, it is packaged with 2 x 15W built-in speakers. It also comes with a built-in subwoofer. So you don't have to invest on an external sound system.
In terms of power consumption, on average, this TV uses 292.2 watts. On standby, it takes 0.5 watts.
It supports a power outlet of 220 V - 240 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz.
