The 75UQ80006LB is a 75 inch 4K TV from LG, launched in the year 2022. It features a True 8-bit IPS panel. It can display a max resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz with a pixel density of 59 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the very next feature of a display that defines picture quality is its Color Gamut.
LG did not provide a color gamut specification for this TV. But don't worry, we have other means to guess that.
Considering the TV features a big 75 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. The color quality on this TV should be Lifelike! Meaning it will produce accurate colors by default.
Understanding the Color Gamut Specification
Color gamut spec of a display indicates the range of colors that it can display.
Meaning, this specification tells the ability of a display to produce accurate colors. A display with low gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), the result would be a "washed out" picture quality.
Different manufacturers use different units to specify color gamut. Viz — sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC 1953, DCI P3 Adobe RGB and rec.2020.
But don't worry, here is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, you should look at the static contrast specification as it impacts the picture quality substantially.
The importance of static contrast ratio
Static contrast ratio of a TV corresponds to its Black levels. A Display with low static contrast ratio (<1000:1) will not produce deep blacks. Apart from this, such TVs are likely to suffer from backlight bleeds such as below:

Clearly this will rob your experience, especially in a dark room.
Like resolution, the static contrast ratio is also equally responsible for details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, I will prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
LG did not specify static contrast specification for this TV. So once again we have to take a guess based on the TV's other specifications. In general, IPS panels come with a static contrast ratio between 700:1 - 1500:1. For a 4K TV, we can assume the ratio of LG 75UQ80006LB would be atleast 1200:1 or above.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HDR10 Pro and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma).
Coming to brightness, it is capable of producing a peak brightness of 250 nits. The backlight used on the panel is Direct LED.
Gaming Performance
If you are not into gaming, you can ignore these specifications. But if you are also going to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, you should get a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, LG did not specify the input lag on this unit. Now, as this is not a cheap TV, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the amount of time at which inputs changes the content of the TV. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
Although for better experience, look for a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The vertical and horizontal measurements of this TV are 66 inches and 40.43 inches respectively.
Speaking of thickness, it is just 2.36 inches thick. In total it weighs around 31.8 KGs including stand. Without stand, it weighs 31.4 Kilograms. So plan your space accordingly.
Now, coming to ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 400 x 400 mm. Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.
Hardware and Audio
The TV is powered by Quad Core CPU. However, LG didn't provide any information about the total available RAM on the TV's specsheet.
Speaking of OS, the LG 75UQ80006LB runs webOS 22 Operating System.
For display connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports on this TV.
To connect USB devices, it includes two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Satellite In (F-type female), 1x Antenna (RF) (female), 1x CI+ 2.0 and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
Wireless connectivity options on this TV include Wi-Fi (5Ghz + 2.5Ghz), Wifi-Direct, Bluetooth 5.0 and DLNA.
For audio, LG has provided 2 x 10W built-in speakers on the TV.
In terms of power consumption, on average, this TV consumes 135 watts. On standby, it uses 0.5 watts.
It supports a power outlet of 220 V - 240 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz.
