Launched in the year 2022, the 65QNED816QA is a 65" 4K TV from LG. It comes with a True 10-bit IPS panel.
The maximum resolution it can achieve is 3840 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with a pixel density of 68 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next most important spec of a display is its Color Reproduction Accuracy (defined by its color gamut specification).
This TV doesn't come with a color gamut specification, so we have to take a guess. Considering the TV features a big 65 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. Undoubtedly The color accuracy on this TV will be Lifelike! It will produce color accurate images by default.
What is Color gamut ?
Color gamut specification of a TV is a measure of the range of colors that it can produce.
Meaning, it tells the ability of a display to produce accurate colors. A TV with low color gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), the result would be a "washed out" picture quality.
Different manufacturers use different measurement standards to specify color gamut. Such as — sRGB, NTSC 1953, DCI P3 etc.
But don't worry, below is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, the static contrast of a TV similarly impacts its picture quality.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
The static contrast ratio of a TV corresponds to its Black levels. A TV with low static contrast ratio (less than 1000:1) will not produce deep blacks. Also, such TVs are likely to suffer from backlight bleeds such as this:

This will affect your viewing experience considerably, especially in a dark room.
Static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, so lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV is rated with a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., good enough to display deep blacks and eye-catching visuals. The panel comes with local dimming technology which is a plus.
HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10 and HDR10 Pro are also supported on this TV.
As for brightness, it can go as bright as 250 nits. The backlight of this TV is powered by Edge LED (Local Dimming) technology.
Gaming Performance
If you are not interested in gaming, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also planning to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to get a TV that features the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, we cannot find the input lag specification for this unit. But as this is not a cheap TV from LG, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the amount of time at which your device inputs changes the content of the TV. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
For best of both worlds, look for a TV that features an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Coming to ergonomics — VESA mount is supported on this TV with an interface size of 300 x 300 mm. Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.
The TV measures 65 inches vertically and 57.17 inches horizontally. Speaking of thickness, it is 1.74 inches thick. Overall the TV weighs approximately 26.2 Kgs (including stand). Without stand, it weighs 24.5 Kgs.
