Launched in the year 2021, the 55HAK6351 is a 55" 4K TV from Hitachi. It features a 10-bit IPS panel. It can achieve a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz with a pixel density of 80 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important specification of a display that impacts picture quality is its Color Gamut.
Hitachi did not provide a color gamut rating for this TV. So we have to take a guess. Considering the TV features amassive 55 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. The color accuracy on this TV should be Lifelike! It will produce color accurate images.
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a display is a measure of the range of colors that the TV can show.
A display with poor color reproduction will produce washed out colors that will spoil the immersion.
It is specified in different units - sRGB,sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC 1953, DCI P3 Adobe RGB, rec.2020.
But don't worry, below is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
After color gamut, next in the list of important specifications that will impact your experience is Static Contrast.
Understanding the static contrast ratio
A TV with low static contrast ratio will not produce deep blacks and can bleed backlight as shown in the below image:

The static contrast ratio of above TV is rated 800:1. So make sure you get a TV with a static contrast of >= 1000:1. More is better.
Like resolution, the static contrast ratio is also equally responsible for details. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV comes with a static contrast ratio of 8000:1., good enough to achieve deep blacks. For the record, it also comes with local dimming backlight which is a plus.
HDR is also supported on this TV in form of HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) and Dolby Vision.
Coming to brightness, it is can produce a maximum brightness of 350 nits. The panel of this TV is powered by Direct LED backlight.
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV only for content consumption, you can safely ignore these specs. But if you are also planning to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, make sure to get a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
Unfortunately, Hitachi did not specify the input lag on this unit. But since this is not a cheap TV, input lag on this TV could be 20ms or below.
What is Input lag ?
This lag is the latency at which device inputs changes the content of your display. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
But ideally, look for a TV that comes with an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Coming to ergonomics — VESA mount is supported on this TV with an interface size of 200 x 200 mm. There is no Swivel, Tilt or Pivot feature support on this TV.
The TV measures 55 inches vertically and 48.58 inches horizontally. Coming to thickness, it is 3.23 inches thick.
It weighs around 11.24 kilograms, another 2.5 kgs if you include stand.
