The 65U8G is a 65 inch 4K TV from Hisense, launched in the year 2021. It features a 10-bit VA panel with Anti-glare/Matte finish. It can achieve a max resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 120 Hz with a pixel density of 68 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the very next feature of a display that impacts picture quality is its Color Gamut.
This TV doesn't provide a color gamut specification, so we have to make an assumption based on its panel type. Considering the TV features a 65 inch screen, it won't come with a cheap panel, so here we can assume its equivalent sRGB coverage to be 90-100% or above. Undoubtedly The color quality on this TV should be Lifelike! It is capable of producing color accurate images by default.
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut specification of a display indicates the range of colors that the display can produce.
A display with poor color accuracy will produce washed out colors that will spoil your immersive experience.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC, DCI P3 to name a few.

Other than color accuracy, the static contrast of a TV also impacts its picture quality.
Why its important?
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that might look dusty as shown below.

Coming to brightness, it is can produce a peak brightness of 1500 nits with the help of Direct LED (Full-Array Local Dimming) backlight. This amount of brightness is good enough even for a well-lit room!
Gaming Performance
Now if you are going to use a TV other than using it as a TV — like as a PC monitor or for gaming purposes, you should take a TV with lowest input lag. For gaming, both input lag and response time affects the performance.
Unfortunately, Hisense did not specify the input lag on this unit. Now, as this is not a cheap TV from Hisense, we can expect an input lag of less than 20ms.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the latency at which device inputs changes the content of your display. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
But ideally, look for a TV that features an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
Vertically, the TV measures 65 inches and horizontally 57 inches.
It is just 4 inches thick.
It weighs around 24.2 kilograms and an additional 1.2 kgs including stand.
Now, speaking of ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 400 x 400 mm. Swivel, Tilt or Pivot features are not supported on this unit.
