The 65U6G is a 65 inch 4K TV from Hisense. It was launched in 2021. It features a True 10-bit VA panel. The maximum resolution it can display is 3840 x 2160 with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a pixel density of 68 ppi.
Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important specification of a display that will impact your viewing experience is its Color Gamut.
The Hisense 65U6G comes with 93% DCI P3 color gamut coverage. FYI, this is equivalent to 126.82% sRGB coverage. The color quality on this TV should be Lifelike!
What Color Gamut means ?
Color gamut spec of a TV is a measure of the range of colors that the display can produce.
In other words, this specification tells the ability of a TV to produce accurate colors. A TV with low color gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), the result would be a "washed out" picture quality.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC 1953, DCI P3 etc.
As for this TV its color gamut is specified in DCI P3.
But don't worry, below is a chart that you can use to choose a TV with good color accuracy.
Other than color accuracy, the static contrast of a TV also impacts its picture quality.
Understanding the static contrast ratio
A TV with low static contrast ratio will not produce deep blacks and possibly can bleed backlight as shown below:

The above TV's static contrast is rated 800:1. So make sure you get a TV with a static contrast of >= 1000:1. More the better.
Think of static contrast as another dimension to details — just like resolution. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, I will prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV features a static contrast ratio of 4700 : 1., good enough to achieve deep blacks. For the record, it also comes with local dimming backlight technology which is a plus.
Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) are also supported on this TV.
As for brightness, the peak brightness the Hisense 65U6G can produce is 600 nits with the help of Direct LED (Full-Array Local Dimming) backlight. This amount of brightness is good enough even for a room with sun's rays in!
Gaming Performance
If you are planning to use your TV solely for content consumption, you can safely ignore these specifications. But if you are also planning to use the TV for playing games or use it as a PC monitor, you would want to take a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on this TV is 11 ms and its minimum response time is 4 ms. It is good enough for both casual and competitive/FPS games alike.
Understanding Input lag and response time
This lag is the latency at which inputs changes the content of the TV. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
But ideally, get a TV that has an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Ergonomics and Dimensions
Coming to ergonomics — VESA mount is supported on this TV with an interface size of 400 x 400 mm. The unit doesn't come with Swivel, Tilt or Pivot support.
Vertically, the TV measures 65 inches and horizontally 56.97 inches.
Speaking of thickness, it is 3.11 inches thick.
It weighs approximately 19.8 kgs and 0.0 kgs extra if you include stand. So plan your space accordingly.

Speaking of OS, the Hisense 65U6G runs Android 10 Operating System.
For display connectivity, Hisense has provided four HDMI 2.0 (b; ARC; CEC) ports and one AV Composite In (Video + L/R) port on this TV.
For connecting USB devices, you will have two USB 2.0 ports. Other connectivity ports include — 1x Cable/Antenna In (F-type) and 1x Ethernet RJ45.
For connecting to this TV wirelessly, the manufacturer has provided a 5Ghz Wi-Fi, 2.5 Ghz Wi-Fi, Wifi-Direct and Bluetooth.
The Audio unit of this TV is powered by 2 x 10W built-in speakers.
Now, coming to power consumption, on average, this TV uses 156W and on standby, it uses 0.5 W.
For powering this unit, you'll need an 100 V - 120 V/50 Hz - 60 Hz outlet.
