Picture Quality
After screen size and resolution, the next important feature of a display that defines picture quality is Color Gamut.
Speaking of which, this TV is rated with a 97% DCI P3 color gamut coverage. FYI, this is equivalent to 132.27% sRGB coverage. The color quality on this TV will be Lifelike!
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut specification of a display is the measurement of the range of colors that it can display.
What this means is, this specification tells the ability of a TV to produce accurate colors. A display with low color gamut coverage will miss out on some colors (such as deep red), so the image produced will look "washed out" in colors.
It is specified in different units - sRGB,sRGB (standard RGB), NTSC, DCI P3 Adobe RGB, rec.2020. It is upto the manufacturer which one they choose.
In case of this TV, its color gamut is specified using DCI P3.
But don't worry, here is a chart that will help you choosing a TV with good color accuracy.
Now, next in the list is Static Contrast.
The importance of static contrast ratio
A TV with high enough static contrast ratio will produce deep blacks while a TV with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that look muddy as shown below.

As you imagine, this will impact your experience considerably.
Think of static contrast as another dimension to details — just like resolution. To put it into perspective, a TV with low contrast ratio will produce less shades of colors, so lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD TV with high contrast ratio over a 4K TV with low contrast ratio.
This TV comes with a static contrast ratio of Infinity:1.. So no need to worry about this at all.
HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10+, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Vision IQ are also supported on this TV.
Coming to brightness, the peak brightness the Hisense 55A85H can achieve is 800 nits. This amount of brightness is good enough even for a room with sun's rays in!
Gaming Performance
If you aren't into gaming, you can safely ignore these specifications. But if you are also going to use the TV for gaming or use it as a PC monitor, make sure to take a TV with the lowest input lag and response time.
The input lag on this TV is 5 ms and its minimum response time is 3 ms. So its a go-to TV if you are interested in gaming.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the amount of time at which your device inputs changes the content of your display. Though, this won't matter much if you aren't into competitive/FPS games like call of duty.
For best of both worlds, look for a TV that features an input lag and response time of < 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The TV measures 55 inches vertically and 48.27 inches horizontally.
It is just 2.68 inches thick.
It weighs 18.1 Kgs and 3.4 kgs extra including stand.
Now, speaking of ergonomics — If you plan to wall mount the TV, you can make use of the VESA mount provided with this TV, which by the way has an interface size of 300 x 200 mm. Tilt or Pivot are not supported on this TV, but it does support Swivel.
