Now, the very next specification of a Display that defines picture quality is Color Gamut.
This Monitor comes with 123% sRGB color gamut coverage. The color quality on this monitor will be Lifelike! Thus, this display will also be useful for individuals who are into photo editing and color grading business.
Understanding Color Gamut
Color gamut spec of a Monitor indicates the range of colors that it can show.
A display with poor color accuracy will produce undersaturated/washed out colors that will spoil the immersion.
It is specified in different units - sRGB(most popular), NTSC 1953, DCI P3 etc.
In case of this Monitor, its color gamut is specified using sRGB.
But you don't need to worry about that, here is a chart that you can use to choose a Monitor with good color accuracy.
Now, after color gamut, the static contrast of a display also impacts its picture quality.
What is Static Contrast ratio ?
A display with high enough static contrast ratio will produce natural deep blacks while a display with low contrast ratio (<1000:1) will produce images that will look muddy as shown in the below image.
As you can see, this will rob your experience considerably.
Static contrast ratio and resolution go hand in hand when it comes to details. To put it into perspective, a Display with low contrast ratio will show both dark gray and black as black, thus lesser detail overall.
If given a choice, always prefer a FHD Display with high contrast ratio over a 4K Display with low contrast ratio.
This Monitor comes with a static contrast ratio of 1000 : 1 — good enough for a display in this range.
As for brightness, it is capable of producing a maximum luminance of 300 nits. The backlight of this Monitor is powered by W-LED technology.
If you are planning to use this display primarily for gaming, you should get a Monitor with lowest input lag and response times.
Unfortunately, we cannot find the input lag specification for this unit. Now, IPS panels in general are known for high input lags and response times. So, the input lag on this Display could be 20ms or above. Though, there's no concern for playability of casual or Non-FPS games on it.
What is Input Lag and Why it matters ?
This lag is the amount of time at which key-presses/mouse movements changes the content of your display. For casual Non-FPS games, input lag doesn't matter much.
For best of both worlds, get a Display that has an input lag and response time of less than 20ms.
Dimensions and Ergonomics
The width of this Display is 24 inches while its height is 17.95 inches.
Coming to thickness, it is just 1.69 inches thick. Overall the monitor weighs around 6.06 KGs including stand. Without stand, it weighs 4.2 Kilograms. So plan your desk space accordingly.
